My Great Grandfather lived in this property in 1881 as shown in the census
return. Please is anyone able to identify the location of the property?

I have found out that these three cottages are now known as "Virginia Cottages" and are located just down a lane turning to the left when you reach the former "The Bell " Public House coming from Malvern.

My Great Grandfather, Thomas Daniell, was there that day in 1881 too, a new widower with his youngest sons Harry and Archie. David Daniell

LOCATION OF FREE PADDOCK

Submitted by daveandover on Tue, 10/06/2008 - 10:30.

Further to my earlier post, I have more information on the location of Free Paddock. The 1881 Cencus lists the following:

Newbands ; The Jordan Family

Burtons ; The Price and Jones Family

Free Paddock ; The Archer and the Eagles Family.

Not sure if two entries means two dwellings or not.

Hopefully this will help to find this property.
