Brooks Family

Hi,

William and Sarah Brooks moved to Mathon from White Ladies Aston, and lived there in the 1840's.  William was an agricultural labourer.  Does anyone know of a source where I can look up and find exactly where he may have worked.  I would be so grateful for any information.

Have you tried looking at the 1851 census at hereford records office.  Its only 10yrs and they might have still been living at Mathon.

Possible connection

I'm not sure if there's a connection, but I found this site tracing a Richard Holloway who married a Sarah Brooks in 1815 in Tewksbury. She died in 1839, so couldn't be the same person, but may be the same family.
